Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is an item that makes certain Pokemon develop. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc, and is often offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools in order to increase the level of their item. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, based on the item type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, armors, weapons and gathering tools to increase attributes bonuses or other effects when the equipment is being used. Upgrade components are only available on equipment with an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item being upgraded is above a certain level. Certain upgrade items also come with special effects when applied to an item of equipment. Upgrade components are available through crafting, bought from Karma merchants or traded with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and used as rewards.
A variety of upgrade components are available, each offering an individual bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, are able to be used on any kind of equipment. They also offer smaller bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are used in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, while enrichments are used to upgrade certain items that are ascended back. Inserting an upgrade component will destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs which can only be inserted in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both are able to be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias, enchantments, and prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item, and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia could change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). item upgrades of upgrade components that have been added to an item will be displayed in the item's tooltip.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add functional and decorative elements to an OpenType font. These include ligatures, fractions or ornaments, as well registered trademark symbols, ellipses, swashes and swashes. The Glyphs Panel allows you to add and view these unique characters, along with standard symbols such as em and en dashes as well as trademark symbols that are registered.
Each Glyph gives an initial boost in stats for the character. It also includes up to four secondary stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a %-increase that is multiplied after other bonuses are applied, with the exception of Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will open a new window showing the Glyphs you have that can be applied to the selected item. You are only able to apply the appropriate Glyph to the item you are looking for. Each weapon, jewelry, or armor piece comes with a distinct collection of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be leveled up by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more challenging the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience you'll get. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15, it can be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The upgrade of a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
When a Glyph is at the desired level you can activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The Glyph you create will provide its stated benefit, and will also boost other nodes within its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go in areas that will benefit your building the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Some glyphs, however, could offer double bonuses if certain conditions are satisfied which is why they're worth checking out for too.
Click the cycle widget to change the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each view displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limit the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a process in which you create a brand new account to give yourself more chances to access a character or weapon that you are interested in. This can be done to aid in your progress to higher levels or to get better loot, like the best weapon for your character. Many players reroll until they get the characters they like regardless of their strength. This can be because they like the character's design or character.

When you reroll, you have to ensure that the changes you're making are clear. This means you should check locally that the patch is able to pass the pre-commit checks, and you should also conduct a core development test. You should also upload the patch to an issue with an unmodified diff (see What about an interdiff? ).
Rerolls can take a few days or weeks, depending on how lucky you are. To save time, avoid enemy camps that are not required during this time. In addition it is recommended to not repeat any quests that can be completed later in the game. This can save you time and energy.
Another important aspect to consider when rerolling is making sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are numerous ways to enhance your character's appearance as well as power. Upgrades, rerolling characters and upgrading weapons are all options. It is also crucial to be aware of the limitations of the system.
Rerolling isn't necessary however it can be an option to increase the chances of acquiring the right character or weapon. It can be used to determine the best character or to play around with different builds and playstyles.
Sets
A set is an object collection that has 2 common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen, or the members of a group). Sets are used for operations such as intersection, union and difference.
Upgrades can make a set better than it was before. This means that the weapon and armor will have a greater defense value and lower requirements for strength.
Upgrades are a great way to bring popular single-set items up to level with their higher-tiered set counterparts. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to Elite Spired Helm can increase the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.
However it's important to remember that not all set items are candidates for upgradation. Certain sets, such as the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzler staff are already Exceptional in their own rights and don't require upgrading. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to improve their performance. It might be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
